OPTIONAL SIGHTSEEING & EXCURSIONS

With Insight, you will enjoy many of Europe's famous highlights as included features of your tour - at no extra cost. However, there is an exciting array of additional excursions which are made available to help turn an already outstanding experience into the trip of a lifetime. These are entirely optional and are offered to you at competitive prices. They are all bookable through your Tour Director at the commencement of your tour as many of them are planned to coincide with the best highlights available at the time of your visit.

The following list is general as it would be impossible to operate all excursions on any one tour. The actual tours to be offered will be advised to you by your Tour Director. All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (SF) and Euros, where appropriate, which have been rounded for convenience. Payment can be made in cash or by the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard or American Express. All credit card transactions will be charged in Euros. For payments in other currencies your Tour Director will advise the relevant exchange rates at the commencement of your tour.

HOW TO BUDGET FOR OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS:

This list is for guidance only. The final list of optional excursions to be offered during your tour will be given to you by your Tour Director.To allow you to participate in a selection of these additional evenings of dinner/ entertainment and special interest sightseeing excursions, please budget for an approximate cost of € 45 per person per day.

ZERMATT

ZER02 KLEINER MATTERHORN EXCURSION

A chance to experience Zermatt's highest and most spectacular mountain ride. Enjoy stunning views as we ascend to Furi and Trockener steg before boarding Europe's highest cable car to arrive on the snow-capped top of the world at 12,400ft. A magnificent panorama of the highest peaks in Switzerland, Italy and France will make this an unforgettable experience. SF 91

LCR01 LAKE LUCERNE CRUISE

The true beauty of Lake Lucerne is revealed as we cruise the tranquil waters and enjoy the stunning scenery of snow-capped mountains, green pastures and dense forests. SF 37

LCR07 SWISS ALPINE SHOW WITH LUNCH

Enjoy a typical Swiss lunch including cheese fondue and drinks whilst being entertained by a lively show featuring song, dance, Alpine horn blowing and traditional Swiss flag-throwing. SF 76

ZURICH

ZUR01 RHINE RIVER JOURNEY WITH DINNER

Enjoy a spectacular boat trip along the River Rhine, starting at the highest waterfalls in Europe and sailing past vineyards; sleepy villages and the marvellous Benedictine monastery of Rheinau, which we will pause to admire. Later dine in a cosy local restaurant, nestled in the oldest house in Rheinau. SF 105
