Company History How we started
The company was established in 1978 with three staff operating as outbound tour agency and sales, reservation and ticketing office to serve the Bruneian community. It is one of the oldest air travel industry establishment in Negara Brunei Darussalam. After more than 30 years, ATTA maintain its pioneer status and one of the top performing air travel agency and tour operator in Brunei Darussalam, providing employment and skill development for more than 30 mainly local (bumiputera) employees supported by able regional internationally experienced expatriate staff.

Investment, recruitment and retention of top quality and high caliber proficient human resources to serve our customers and partners are the highest strategic focus of the company. The company's strategic business direction is focus on diversification and investing in innovations, business develop and embracing technology to widening the company's participation and presence in air travel and tour industry to establish synergy between our customers, our partners, associations and vendors, and Anthony Tour's unique and un-equal strive towards customer-centric service delivery.

Anthony Tours - Sales & Ticketing
The unit works closely with principal airlines, hotels, STA (student travel) and ground operators to generate sales, including airline ticket reservation and sales, worldwide hotels and transportation (air, coach, train, cruise and air charters) . The unit provides sales consultancy and advisory services to retail, corporate and government clients to effect cost effective travel solutions. ATTA has been, and will continue to be, the top agents for all online and offline carriers in Brunei Darussalam. We are appointed as Brunei STA-Travel to issue ISIC cards and we represent International SOS in Brunei Darussalam.

ADATC Sales
The unit manages the business of principle airlines and partners (hotels, tourism boards, transportation, conventions and airline business solutions) to effectively promote and generate sales of their products. The unit is responsible for close coordination with the principle organizations and undertakes sales and marketing activities to generate sales. ADATC Sales is the representation office for Surabaya Tourists Promotion Board, and previously held the representation office for Hawaii Travel Bureau, Tahiti Tourism Board and Outrigger Hotels Group. ADATCS also represent APG-GA Brunei office.

Anthony Tours - Tours & MICE
This is the tour and MICE operating unit of the company with responsible to generate synergies and joint marketing activities with partnering vendors, suppliers to facilitate the formation of inbound and outbound tour packages including, eco tours, diving, golf, medical, student, commercial, luxury travel, special interest tours and MICE in Brunei Darussalam. These units has developed exceptional expertise in North Asia markets and operate charter flights during peak seasons. The unit has proven capabilities to undertake MICE activity for group in excess of 500 passengers.

Information Technology Unit
This is a centralized unit that manages and undertakes all the technology solutions including facilitation and integration with principles, partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure that the business technology and solution will be in place. The unit facilitated the introduction of the first travel agent in Brunei Darussalam to have online booking and enquiry services.

Finance Division
This unit undertakes the finance, auditing and human resources management function of the company.
ISIC - International Student Identity Card What is ISIC?
The ISIC Association is the non-profit organisation behind the International Student Identity Card (ISIC). The ISIC card is the only internationally accepted proof of bona fide student status. First established in 1953, the ISIC card is now issued to students in over 130 countries. The ISIC card is not exclusive. All bona fide students over the age of 12, regardless of their nationality, race, gender or religion can purchase an ISIC card at an affordable price. Via one single card, ISIC students gain preferential and discounted access to products, services and experiences relevant to all aspects of student life, from software licenses and cinema access, to bookstores, public transport, cafés and eateries.

ADATC Sales ADATC Sales was registered in Brunei since 12 November 1996. ADATC Sales acts as the General Sales Agent for Saudi Arabian Airlines and Korean Air and also represents Malindo Air and wholesaler for Cebu Pacific.

ADATC Sales provides travel industry and ticketing to all Government offices, travel agents, airlines and corporate accounts in Brunei Darussalam. It is associated with Anthony Tours and Travel Agency Sdn. Bhd. (ATTA).

The unit manages the business principle airlines and partners (hotels, tourism boards, transportation, conventions and airline business solutions) to effectively promote and generate sales of their products. It is responsible for close coordination with the principle organizations and undertakes sales and marketing activities to generate sales.

The services provided by ADATC sales include package holidays for travelers, acts as General Sales Agent (GSA) tourism related services such as airlines, hotels, travel insurance, car rental services.
APG Network Brunei APG Company is a partner member of APG Network, registered in Brunei since 21 December 2010. Today APG Network present in 176 countries and having client relationships with over 200 airlines worldwide.

APG History
In 1991, APG was originally established by 5 European General Sales Agency organizations to meet the demand for regional airline sales and marketing representation solutions.

In 1999, APG Network forged a key Partner relationship with IATA to market Pay as you Earn BSP membership to the world's airlines. The product, now called IBCS, today accounts for over 20% of BSP participation by carrier.

In 2005 APG partnered with the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) in the United States to bring airlines into ARC. APG has introduced more than 20% of ARC members.

In 2008, APG, with partner Heli Air Monaco, introduced a commercialized Interline Electronic Ticketing (IET) program which now boasts almost 100 airlines.

In 2009, building on its representation expertise, over the past twenty two years, APG developed a suite of distribution strategy services collectively known as the APG World Program.

In 2010, APG starts to market tailor-made agreements combining its growing portfolio of products. APG is unique amongst competitors in that we do not propose a "one size fits all" distribution solution of, for example, solely GSA representation or interline electronic ticketing.

In 2011, APG Inc was incorporated under French law, and issued shares to the membership to create a jointly-owned and managed network.

In 2012, APG welcomed its 100th member and generated more than $500m in airline revenues up 39.7% year on year.

Today, APG has over 100 offices on six continents covering over 170 countries.
International SOS While working at the French Embassy in Jakarta in the early 1980s, Pascal Rey-Herme, a French doctor, became aware of the need to deliver international standards of healthcare to the wider expatriate community and to international organizations in the region.

Together with his childhood friend Arnaud Vaissie, who had been in the United States managing a subsidiary of a large German financial group, they set up a business to provide international standards of medical care and emergency medical assistance in Southeast Asia.

This company, AEA International, was founded in 1985. Starting with just 15 staff, AEA International grew rapidly from its base in Singapore and Indonesia into a pan-Asian corporation, creating operating companies in Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and mainland China.

In the early nineties, AEA International opened a series of new assistance centers and began to provide medical and security information online and manage travel data.

In 1998, AEA International acquired International SOS Assistance, and the business was renamed International SOS.

Presently, International SOS employees working in over 76 countries help member organizations manage the health and security risks facing their travelers and expatriates.
